Subject: Prayer for increasing common room facilities

Sir,

With due respect, we, the students of class ten of your school, beg to draw your kind attention to the following facts and request you to take necessary steps.

Our school has a common room where students spend their free time before classes and during the break. But the present facilities of the room are not sufficient to meet our demand. The room is small, and there are not enough chairs and tables for all the students. As a result, many of us have to stand or sit on the floor. There are no newspapers, magazines or indoor games like carrom and chess to spend our leisure time usefully. The room is poorly ventilated, and the fans and lights often do not work properly. Moreover, there is no arrangement for drinking water in the room.

Due to these problems, we cannot use the common room properly, and our leisure time is often wasted. We believe that a well-equipped common room will refresh us and help us to concentrate better on our studies.

We, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to increase the facilities of the common room by providing sufficient furniture, a good supply of newspapers, magazines and indoor games, and by repairing the fans and lights as soon as possible.
