উত্তর ও ব্যাখ্যা

(a) Taimur was one of the greatest conquerors of the world.
Rule: "Very few … so great as" এর superlative হলো "one of the + superlative + plural noun"।

(b) Young Taimur once attacked the province of a powerful prince.
Rule: Passive-এর by-এর পরের অংশ subject হবে, verb-কে active (past indefinite) করতে হবে।

(c) A large village was captured by him.
Rule: Passive: object → subject + was/were + past participle + by + object।

(d) The army left none of Taimur's soldiers alive. (অথবা: The army did not leave any of Taimur's soldiers alive.)
Rule: "killed all" এর negative করতে "left none … alive" বা "did not leave any … alive" ব্যবহার করা যায়; অর্থ অপরিবর্তিত থাকে।

(e) He remained in his true self and did not need to disguise himself as a rich traveller to survive. (সরল রূপ: He avoided disguising himself as a rich traveller to survive.)
Rule: Negative বাক্যকে affirmative করতে not-এর বিপরীত অর্থের শব্দ (avoid, remain, refrain ইত্যাদি) ব্যবহার করে অর্থ অপরিবর্তিত রাখতে হয়।
