Title: A Quarrel Ended in Wisdom

Lina is a student of class ten. One day in the afternoon she was gossiping with her friend beside a pond near her house. While gossiping she noticed two small boys quarrelling over a trifling matter. She did not take it seriously thinking that their quarrel would come to an end soon. But the quarrel grew worse every moment. One of the boys suddenly pushed the other, and he fell down near the edge of the pond. Lina and her friend were shocked and ran towards them at once. The boy was about to slip into the water, but Lina caught his hand just in time and pulled him up safely. He was wet and trembling with fear. The other boy was also frightened and began to cry. Lina scolded them gently and told them how dangerous such a quarrel could be. She asked them to say sorry to each other, and they did so with shame. Then she gave them a small piece of advice that no quarrel is worth risking a life. The boys promised never to fight again, and they went home hand in hand. Lina realised that a small matter should never be ignored, because it can turn into a big danger.
