Subject: Prayer for opening a canteen in the school campus

Sir,

With due respect, we, on behalf of all the students of your school, beg to state that we are feeling the necessity of a canteen in our school campus. We hope you will kindly consider our prayer.

Our school starts at 10 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m., and most of us come from distant villages and areas. We bring tiffin from home, but it is often not enough for the whole day. As there is no canteen on the campus, we have to go outside the school gate to buy food during the tiffin break. This wastes our valuable time, and sometimes we are late for the next class. Moreover, the food sold at the roadside shops is often unhygienic and may cause diseases. Our girl students also face difficulties in going out of the school for food.

If a canteen is opened inside the campus, we will get clean and healthy food at a reasonable price. We will not need to leave the school premises, and our time and safety will be ensured. The canteen can also be run under the supervision of a teacher, so that the quality of food is maintained.

We, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to arrange a canteen in our school campus as early as possible.
