A Journey You Have Recently Enjoyed

Introduction: Journey is a source of joy and knowledge. Recently I enjoyed a memorable train journey from Dhaka to Sylhet with my family.

Preparation: We had planned the trip for a long time. We bought the tickets of the Parabat Express beforehand and packed our bags the night before. On the day of departure, we reached Kamalapur Railway Station at 6:30 in the morning.

The journey: The train started on time. I sat beside the window and enjoyed the view of green fields, rivers, villages and small stations. Vendors came into the train selling tea, peanuts and fruits. My younger brother was very excited, and we sang songs and played cards. As the train entered the hilly area, we saw beautiful tea gardens and forests on both sides.

Arrival: We reached Sylhet in the afternoon and went to a hotel. Next day we visited Jaflong, Ratargul and the tea gardens of Malnicherra. The blue sky, the clear water and the green hills pleased our eyes.

Return and conclusion: After three days we returned home with sweet memories. The journey taught me to love nature and our country. I shall never forget it.
