Title: Sufia's Courage

Sufia is a worker in a big garments factory. More than five thousand workers work in that factory. One day, while she was busy in work a sound was heard, "Fire! Fire! Help! Help!" Everyone became frightened and began to run towards the exit. Thick black smoke filled the floor, and many workers started to cry. The main gate was locked, and the crowd was pushing each other. Sufia did not lose her nerve. She remembered the fire drill she had once attended and shouted at everybody to stay calm and keep low to the ground. She led a group of women to the emergency staircase and helped them to get down. In the meantime, the fire service arrived and started to put out the flames. Within an hour the fire was under control, and most of the workers were saved. Sufia was a bit hurt but happy, because she had helped her colleagues. The next day, the owner and everybody praised her for her courage and quick thinking. Later, the factory authority took proper safety measures and arranged regular fire drills.
