Subject: Prayer for permission and monetary assistance for a study tour

Madam,

With due respect, we, the students of class ten of your school, beg to state that we are very interested in going on a study tour to a historical place. We have decided to visit Bagerhat, the historic city of the Sixty Dome Mosque, which is not far from Khulna. Such a tour will help us to learn about our history and heritage with our own eyes. It will also give us joy and refresh us after our hard studies. Our class teachers have agreed to accompany us.

The tour will take one day, and the total cost for bus hire, food and tickets will be about Tk. 25,000. Many of our classmates come from poor families and cannot bear the whole cost.

We, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to permit us to go on the tour and sanction some money from the school fund.
