Your Hobby

Introduction
A hobby is an activity that we enjoy doing in our spare time. It gives us pleasure and relief from the stress of daily work. My hobby is reading storybooks.

How it started
I developed the habit of reading when I was in class six. My father used to bring children's magazines and storybooks for me. Gradually I became fond of reading and now I spend an hour or two every day with a book.

What I read
I read stories, novels, biographies and poems. My favourite writers are Rabindranath Tagore, Kazi Nazrul Islam and Humayun Ahmed. I also read about great people and scientists, which inspires me to do something good in life.

Benefits
Reading increases my knowledge and imagination. It improves my vocabulary and helps me write better in examinations. It also keeps me away from wasting time and bad company. While reading, I forget my worries and feel peaceful.

Conclusion
A hobby makes life enjoyable and meaningful. Reading is my best friend, and I will continue this good habit throughout my life.
