Because of heavy rainfall, the roads of our area have become unusable. The sewerage drains are blocked and cannot carry the water away, so the roads remain under knee-deep water. People cannot go to their offices and shops, and school-going students are unable to attend classes. Mosquitoes are breeding in the stagnant water and many people have fallen ill. Rickshaws and other vehicles cannot move, which has made life miserable.
