The Season You Like Most

Introduction
Bangladesh is a land of six seasons: summer, rainy season, autumn, late autumn, winter and spring. Each season has its own beauty, but I like spring most. It is called the king of the seasons.

Time and weather
Spring comes in the months of Falgun and Chaitra (mid-February to mid-April). The weather is neither too hot nor too cold. A soft, cool southern breeze blows, and the sky remains clear and blue. It is the most pleasant time of the year.

Beauty of nature
In spring, the whole nature wears a new look. Trees shed their old leaves and put on fresh green ones. Flowers like the krishnachura, shimul, palash and bakul bloom everywhere, and their colours and fragrance fill the air. Mango trees are full of buds.

Birds and festivals
The cuckoo sings sweetly from the branches, and other birds chirp merrily. The first day of Falgun is celebrated as Pahela Falgun, when young people dress in yellow and red and enjoy the day with flowers and songs. The Ekushey Book Fair also gives the season a special charm.

Why I like it
Spring is free from the heat of summer and the cold of winter, so I can go out, study and play comfortably. It fills my mind with joy and inspires me to write poems and love nature.

Conclusion
Spring is a season of hope, beauty and joy. That is why it is my favourite season, and I wait for it eagerly every year.
