Unless protected areas are established the Royal Bengal Tigers will face-_____ of extinction.

Question

Accepted Answer

খ. the possibility

ব্যাখ্যা: ‘face’ ক্রিয়ার কর্ম (object) হিসেবে বিশেষ্য দরকার; ফাঁকা স্থানের পরে ‘of extinction’ আছে, তাই বিশেষ্য the possibility বসে (the possibility of extinction)। possible (বিশেষণ) ও possibly (ক্রিয়াবিশেষণ) বিশেষ্যের কাজ করে না; ‘to be possible’ বাক্যে অচল।

**শর্টকাট:** ফাঁকার পরে ‘of’ থাকলে সাধারণত বিশেষ্য (the possibility of)।

**মনে রাখার কৌশল:** possibility + of; ability + to।

**একই ধরনের প্রশ্ন:**
১. There is a ___ of rain tomorrow. (possible/possibly/possibility/possibilities)
*উত্তর:* possibility
