Fill in the blank. this dictionary
costs ----- the other one.

Question

Accepted Answer

খ. twice as much as

ব্যাখ্যা: দুটি জিনিসের গুণ বা পরিমাণের গুণিতক তুলনায় গঠন হয় ‘multiple + as + adjective/adverb + as’। এখানে cost এর সাথে ‘twice as much as’ ঠিক। ‘twice more than’ প্রচলিত নয়, আর ‘as many’ কেবল গোনা যায় এমন বস্তুর জন্য।

**শর্টকাট:** দামের ক্ষেত্রে ‘as much as’; গণনীয় বস্তুর ক্ষেত্রে ‘as many as’।

**একই ধরনের প্রশ্ন:**
১. She earns ___ her brother. (three times as much as / three times more as)
*উত্তর:* three times as much as
