Fill in the following blanks: By the time I had reached the bottom of the mountain, I__________ extremely tired.

Question

Accepted Answer

ঘ. felt

ব্যাখ্যা: 'By the time' দিয়ে শুরু হওয়া ক্লজে Past Perfect (had reached) থাকলে মূল বাক্যে সাধারণত Simple Past বসে, কারণ মূল ঘটনাটি অতীতের নির্দিষ্ট সময়ে ঘটেছে। তাই এখানে 'felt' সঠিক। 'feel' ও 'am feeling' বর্তমান কাল, তাই অতীতের প্রসঙ্গে বেমানান।

**শর্টকাট:** 'By the time + had + V3' ক্লজের পরের অংশে সাধারণত Past Indefinite।

**একই ধরনের প্রশ্ন:**
১. By the time he arrived, we ___ dinner. (finish)
*উত্তর:* had finished
