Which sentence is in the subjunctive mood?

Question

Accepted Answer

ক. I wish he were here now.

'I wish he **were** here now' তে wish-এর পরে were ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে, যা subjunctive-এর চিহ্ন। 'He is here now' বাস্তব ঘটনা, 'If he comes' সম্ভাব্য শর্ত, 'might come' সম্ভাবনা।

**শর্টকাট:** wish / if only / as if এর পর were খোঁজো।

১. 'I wish I ___ a bird.' (am / was / were)
*উত্তর:* were
