Subject: Prayer for opening a debating club in the school compound

Sir,

With due respect, I beg to state that most of the students of our school are talented and very interested in debating. But they cannot take part in debate competitions for want of a debating club in our school.

A debating club will help students to develop their speaking skill, confidence and logical thinking. It will also increase their knowledge, and they can represent our school in different inter-school competitions and bring honour to it. There is a vacant room in the school compound where the club can be opened. We will run it ourselves under the guidance of a teacher, and it will not hamper our regular studies.

I, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to open a debating club in our school compound. I shall remain ever grateful to you.
