Subject: Complaint about the insufficient facilities of the school canteen

Sir,

With due respect, I, on behalf of the students of class ten, beg to draw your kind attention to the insufficient facilities of our school canteen. Though there is a canteen in our school, we are facing many problems.

First, the canteen is very small, so a large number of students have to stand in a queue for a long time during the tiffin break. Second, there are not enough tables and chairs. Third, the food is not always fresh and hygienic, and the prices are high. Besides, there is no safe drinking water, and the canteen is not kept clean.

The students often fall ill and waste their break time. I, therefore, request you to enlarge the canteen, provide necessary furniture and safe drinking water, and supervise the quality and price of food so that we can have healthy food in a clean environment.
