Sir,
With due respect, I, Tamjid, a student of class ten, beg to draw your kind attention to the fact that a devastating flood has occurred in our district. The whole area is under water. Many people have lost their houses and belongings. Thousands of people, including women, children and old persons, are now homeless and living in the open air on roads and embankments. They have no safe drinking water, no food and no medicine, and many have already fallen sick.

I, therefore, humbly request you to open an aid camp in our area at once and to ensure food, pure drinking water, medicine and temporary shelter for the helpless people. I hope you will take immediate steps to relieve their sufferings.
