Subject: Prayer for a seat in the school hostel

Sir,

With due respect, I beg to state that I am Shamim, a student of class ten of your school. My father has recently been transferred to Dhaka, and the whole family is going to shift there soon.

I am now preparing for the SSC examination, which is only a few months away. I do not want to change my school at this crucial time, because I have been studying here since class six and I am well acquainted with the teachers and the system of the school. A change of school at this stage may harm my preparation.

So, I want to stay in the school hostel and continue my study here. I promise to follow all the rules of the hostel and be a disciplined boarder.

I, therefore, pray and hope that you would be kind enough to allot a seat for me in the school hostel. I shall remain ever grateful to you.
