Sir,
With due respect, I beg to state that I am an inhabitant of Rahimanagar under Chandpur district. I am writing this letter to draw your kind attention to the deteriorating law and order situation of our locality.

Our locality is now badly affected by antisocial activities like eve-teasing, hijacking and taking drugs. Some unemployed and misguided young men gather at street corners and tease the schoolgirls and college-going girls. As a result, the girls are afraid of going to educational institutions. Hijackers often snatch away money and mobile phones from passers-by, especially at night. Besides, drug addiction is spreading fast among the young generation and ruining their lives. The people of our locality, particularly the women and the guardians, feel insecure and anxious.

Therefore, I request you to take immediate and effective steps against these criminals. Please arrange regular police patrols in our area, especially in the evening and at night, and bring the culprits to justice. I hope you will look into the matter seriously and restore peace in our locality.
