Mr. Bhubon, my friend and professor is known for their good behavior.
Which part of the sentence is incorrect?

Question

Accepted Answer

ঘ. their good behavior

ব্যাখ্যা: বাক্যের subject **Mr. Bhubon** একজন ব্যক্তি — 'my friend and professor' একই ব্যক্তির দুটি পরিচয় (একটি article থাকায়), তাই verb 'is' সঠিক। কিন্তু একবচন পুরুষবাচক subject এর জন্য possessive pronoun হবে **his**, 'their' নয়। শুদ্ধ বাক্য: "Mr. Bhubon, my friend and professor, is known for his good behavior."

**শর্টকাট:** pronoun এর বচন ও লিঙ্গ antecedent এর সঙ্গে মিলিয়ে দেখো।

**মনে রাখার কৌশল:** এক ব্যক্তি = he/his; একাধিক = they/their।
