Mother said to me, "Do not tell a lie."

Question

Accepted Answer

গ. Mother advised me not to tell a lie.

ব্যাখ্যা: 'Do not tell a lie' একটি নেতিবাচক উপদেশমূলক আদেশ। Indirect speech এ 'advised + object + not to + verb' হয়। 'Mother advised me not to tell a lie' উপদেশের সঠিক ভাব প্রকাশ করে। frightened (ভয় দেখানো), suggested me (ভুল গঠন) ও warned (সতর্ক করা) এখানে তুলনামূলক কম উপযুক্ত।

**মনে রাখার কৌশল:** Do not + V → told/advised + object + not to + V।

**একই ধরনের প্রশ্ন:**
১. He said to me, "Don't be late." (Indirect)
*উত্তর:* He advised me not to be late.
