It is high time we——-our efforts to change the country.

Question

Accepted Answer

গ. used

ব্যাখ্যা: 'It is high time + subject + past tense (V2)' গঠনে বর্তমানে করা উচিত এমন কাজ বোঝাতে অতীত রূপ ব্যবহৃত হয়, তাই 'we used'। 'will use', 'use' বা 'had used' এখানে ব্যাকরণসম্মত নয়।

**শর্টকাট:** high time/ would rather/ if only এর পরে V2।

**মনে রাখার কৌশল:** It is high time + S + V2 (সময় হয়ে গেছে)।

**একই ধরনের প্রশ্ন:**
১. It is high time he ___ his duty. (does/did)
*উত্তর:* did
