Subject: Prayer for permission to go on a study tour

Sir,

With due respect, I beg to state that I am a student of class IX of your school. We, the students of our class, are very eager to go on a study tour. It will give us practical knowledge about history and nature that we cannot get from books alone.

We want to visit Mainamati and Paharpur, the historical places of our country, for three days. Our class teacher, Mr. Rahman, has agreed to go with us. The cost will be low and our guardians have given their consent.

I therefore pray that you will kindly allow us to go on the study tour and grant us leave for three days from 20 November.

Yours obediently,
Sumon
