Subject: Complaint about the lack of common room facilities

Sir,

With due respect, I beg to draw your kind attention to the poor condition of the common rooms in our school. I am a student of class X of your school and I am writing on behalf of all the students.

At present, there is only one small common room for boys and girls, and it is not enough for such a large number of students. It has few chairs and no proper fan or light. There is no pure drinking water, no newspapers and no indoor games. As a result, we cannot rest or spend our free time properly between classes.

I therefore request you to take necessary steps to increase the common room facilities as soon as possible. A separate room for girls with a washroom and some indoor games and magazines will help us a lot.
