Tests show that catfish from lake Apopka are safe to eat, even though they contain almost twice as much of the pesticide DDT this year more than they did in 1982.

Question

Accepted Answer

ঘ. as they did

ব্যাখ্যা: বাক্যে আগেই **twice as much** আছে; এই তুলনার গঠন হলো **as much ... as**, তাই শেষে **as** বসবে: '...almost twice as much of the pesticide DDT this year **as they did** in 1982.' 'Than' বসে কেবল comparative degree-এর পর (more than, higher than) — as much-এর পর than (ক, খ) ভুল, আর গ-তে 'more than' দিলে twice as much-এর সঙ্গে দুবার তুলনা হয়ে যায়। Did এখানে contain ক্রিয়ার পুনরাবৃত্তি এড়াতে ব্যবহৃত।

**শর্টকাট:** as ... as জোড়া; more/-er ... than জোড়া — বাক্যের প্রথম অংশ দেখে দ্বিতীয় অংশ ঠিক করো।

**একই ধরনের প্রশ্ন:**
