"When I was here a few years ago, they were building a new airport".The passive form of the sentence is-

Question

Accepted Answer

ক. When I was here a few years ago, a new airport was being built.

ব্যাখ্যা: 'they were building a new airport' Past Continuous Active। Passive এ: object + was/were being + V3, তাই **a new airport was being built**। 'is being built' বর্তমান কাল, আর 'was building' বা 'were building' passive গঠনই নয়।

**মনে রাখার কৌশল:** Past Continuous passive = was/were + being + V3।

**একই ধরনের প্রশ্ন:**
১. 'They were repairing the road.' (Passive)
*উত্তর:* The road was being repaired.
