Question

Accepted Answer

গ. are

ব্যাখ্যা: 'A number of + plural noun' plural verb নেয়, তাই 'A number of factors are responsible...'। 'The number of' হলে singular verb হতো।

**শর্টকাট:** a number of = অনেক → plural; the number of = সংখ্যা → singular।

**একই ধরনের প্রশ্ন:**
১. 'The number of students ___ increasing.' (is/are)
*উত্তর:* is
