My friend said to me, "Go home at once."

Question

Accepted Answer

খ. My friend asked me to go home at once.

ব্যাখ্যা: Imperative sentence (আদেশ) এর indirect speech এ reporting verb 'said to' বদলে asked/ordered/told হয় এবং quotation 'to + verb' আকারে বসে। 'Go home at once' এর জন্য 'My friend asked me to go home at once' সঠিক। (ক) তে to নেই, (গ) তে 'said me' ভুল, (ঘ) তে 'to went' ভুল (to এর পরে verb এর base form)।

**মনে রাখার কৌশল:** আদেশ/অনুরোধ → told/ordered/asked + object + to + V1।

**একই ধরনের প্রশ্ন:**
১. He said to me, "Open the door." (Indirect)
*উত্তর:* He ordered me to open the door.
