Subject: Application for increasing the library facilities

Sir,

With due respect, I beg to state that I am a student of class ten of your school. Our school library is not well furnished and lacks many facilities. I would like to draw your kind attention to the following problems.

The library has too few books, and most of them are old. There are not enough up-to-date reference books, newspapers and magazines. The reading room is small and has too few chairs and tables, so many students cannot sit and read. There is also no computer or internet facility, and the librarian cannot lend books to all the students properly.

I, therefore, request you to take necessary steps to buy new books, to increase the seats in the reading room and to arrange computer and internet facilities in the library. This will help all the students to improve their knowledge.
