Subject: Complaint about the insufficient books and sitting arrangement of the school library

Sir,

With due respect, I beg to state that I am a student of class nine of your school. Our school has a big library, but its collection of books and sitting arrangement are not satisfactory. I want to draw your kind attention to the problems.

First, the number of books is very small, and most of them are old. There are not enough up-to-date story books, reference books, dictionaries and books on science. Second, the library has very few chairs and tables, so many students cannot sit and read there. The room is also not well-lit, and there are not enough fans.

As a result, we cannot make proper use of the library. I, therefore, request you to buy new books and arrange sufficient chairs, tables, lights and fans for the library as soon as possible.
