The girl, on the roof, is my acquaintance. The underline portion is?

Question

Accepted Answer

ক. A noun phrase

ব্যাখ্যা: ‘The girl on the roof’ বাক্যের subject হিসেবে বসেছে এবং মূল শব্দ ‘girl’ noun; তাই পুরো অংশটি **noun phrase** (head noun + modifier)। শুধু ‘on the roof’ অংশটি girl-কে বর্ণনা করার কারণে adjective phrase হতো, কিন্তু প্রশ্নে underlined পুরো কর্তাপদ ধরা হয়েছে।

**শর্টকাট:** মূল শব্দ noun হলে পুরো গুচ্ছ noun phrase।

**একই ধরনের প্রশ্ন:**
১. ‘The old man in the park is my uncle.’ underlined অংশ কী?
*উত্তর:* noun phrase
