Read the following passage and answer the questions below it:Compassion is a powerful characteristic that comes straight from the heart. It is something that can be remembered for a life time, and shown in multiple ways, whether it is spontancous compassion, planned compassion or fake-it-till-you-make-it compassion. For instance, a person might offer a neighbor or a lady with groceries a helping hand. A person might be walking down the street and see some people and smile and ask them how their day went. This type of compassion is simple but goes very far. It can be the highlight of somebody's day Another great scenario of this sort of compassion is a girl walking down the halls in school carrying a large number of books in her hands: She accidentally drops all of her books on the ground. As she kneels down to pick up her books in a rush a passerby sees her struggling to get everything together. The person runs over and helps her pick up all of her books, making it less of a burden for her. The person did not plan on acting on kindness. It was just spontaneous. This simple act made a negative situation positive or a bad day a good day. The girl most likely went home feeling thankful that someone helped her pick her books up. The second type of compassion is planned compassion. Planning a farewell party for a colleague, or donating money for a sick or needy person may be an example of this kind of compassion Another good instance of planned compassion is one day a mother receives an unexpected call from her son's school teacher who complains that her son and a couple of other kids had been teasing and calling an innocent young girl names. The mother is very upset with her son's actions as she has been raising her son to be a better person than that. The mother has a talk with her son and asks him how he would feel if someone treated him in the same manner. In this way, she not only deals with him in a compassionate manner but also tries to rectify his manners by instilling compassion in him.

উত্তর ও ব্যাখ্যা
(1.1) Title: 'Compassion: Spontaneous and Planned'.
Justification: The passage defines compassion and then explains two kinds of it, spontaneous compassion (such as helping a girl who dropped her books) and planned compassion (such as organising a farewell party or teaching a child to be kind). The title covers the whole content.
(1.2) Spontaneous compassion is unplanned and comes from the heart at the moment, as when a passer-by helps a girl pick up her fallen books without thinking. Planned compassion is thought out in advance, such as arranging a farewell party, donating for a sick person, or a mother deliberately talking to her son about teasing a girl.
(1.3) Compassion makes a negative situation positive and can turn a bad day into a good one. It makes the receiver feel thankful and cared for, and it can remain in memory for a lifetime. It also improves behaviour, because teaching children compassion makes them kinder persons.
(1.4) (The underlined words are not marked, so the key expressions are explained.)
- spontaneous: happening naturally without planning.
- burden: something heavy or troublesome to carry.
- rectify: to correct or put right.
- instilling: gradually putting a feeling or idea into someone's mind.
- teasing and calling names: annoying someone by making fun of them or using insulting names.
