The Uses and Abuses of Mobile Phone

The mobile phone is a part and parcel of our daily life. It has many uses. We can talk to anyone at any time and in any place, and send messages and emails quickly. With a smartphone we can use the internet, take photos, listen to music, and learn from online lessons. It also helps us in mobile banking, bill payment and shopping, and in an emergency we can call for help. However, it has abuses as well. Many students waste their time on games and social media, and this harms their studies. Too much use of the mobile phone causes headaches, eye problems and sleeplessness. Some people use it for bad purposes such as cheating, spreading rumours or harassing others. Young people also see harmful content on it. So we should use the mobile phone only when it is needed and limit the time spent on it. If we use it properly, it is a great blessing, but if we misuse it, it becomes a curse.
