Transportation Used by Students to Come to School

The pie chart shows the percentage of different means of transportation that students use to come to their school. It presents four modes of transport: rickshaw, walking, bus and car.

According to the chart, the rickshaw is by far the most popular means of transport. Exactly half of the students, that is 50 per cent, come to school by rickshaw. Walking and bus are the next most common ways. Each of them is used by 20 per cent of the students, so together they account for 40 per cent. The car is the least used means of transport, as only 10 per cent of the students come to school by car.

If we compare the figures, the number of students using rickshaws is two and a half times higher than that of the students who walk or take a bus. Moreover, the rickshaw users are five times as many as the students who use cars. The total of all the percentages is 100 per cent.

In conclusion, the chart clearly shows that most students depend on rickshaws, while a very small portion of them can afford to come to school by car.
