Subject: Prayer for arranging extra classes on English grammar

Sir,

With due respect, we, the students of class ten, beg to state that we are SSC candidates of your school. We need some extra lessons on English grammar, and on behalf of the class I would like to place our request before you.

Our SSC examination is approaching. Many of us are weak in grammar, especially in tense, voice, narration and the use of articles and prepositions. As the time of the regular classes is limited, our teachers cannot give enough time to practise these items. Since grammar carries many marks in the examination, a good command of it is necessary for a good result.

We, therefore, request you to arrange some extra classes on English grammar after the regular classes. We will attend all the classes regularly and sincerely.

We shall remain ever grateful to you for this kindness.
